Patient information illustrations

As well as 3D illustrations and animations I have also produced an extensive array of patient information and scientific visuals using 2D vector techniques ideal for publication. This style of illustration is particularly useful where a more simplistic aesthetic is required. This is a set of illustrations created for the NHS to help patients understand their potential surgical option of treatment and better understand the anatomy involved. Created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Many illustrations were created for this project outlining a number of different surgical procedures relating to the bowel. The below set of illustrations show the main steps of a hemicolectomy.






This illustration of a map of the hospital was created to help patients find the correct department. Each corridor and unit is colour coded in line with the hospitals actual coding.
